The Process of making the post model was fraught with errors (learning experiences) and on the fly fixes.
Anyway, here is the continued making process...
Get the parts off the printer and clean.
:( Due to the height of the white tube there was a bit of wobble at the end of the print, resulting in deformations.
After cleaning and sanding the tube was painted...
The parts were assembled with a 12v LED strip inserted to give a rough idea of what the product could have been if the parts had arrived in time.
Anyway, here is the continued making process...

:( Realise that the two printers behave quite differently and that the PLA shrinks. Two parts with fine tolerances do not fit as they should.
To fix this the thread was sanded off and the parts were glued together.
After cleaning and sanding the tube was painted...
