Keeping Cool with a mesh vest

Our team is exploring using mesh vests for airflow. I was having nightmares of Right Said Fred singing I'm too Sexy.

Fortunately our intrepid team mate David turned up a product that would be the perfect base for our vests. Maxx-Dri is a double layer mesh used as the base layer for tactical protective vests. It looks like this...
Something like this retails for less than AUS$180 so manufacture costs will be significantly lower.

According to QUT fashion lecturer Icaro Ibanez, an item like this could be manufactured in Australia for about $60 ($20 materials, $40 manufacture costs), or for $35 in Asia ($15 materials, $20 or less for manufacture).

All we need to do is integrate the shock absorbing pads and the electronics and we are done.
