Donald Norman, in his book 'The Design of Everyday Things' tells us "Designing well is not easy.' and then goes onto explain the many and often varying needs of clients, manufacturers, retailers, and end users. Despite all of this Norman continues with, "The world is permeated with small examples of good design, with the amazing details that make important differences in out lives. Each detail was added by some person, a designer, carefully thinking through the uses of the device..".
Let's hope that we are some of the designers who apply careful thinking to make important differences to someone's life.
