Measuring time

The way we measure time flies against the simplicity of the decimal system where things all work neatly in factors of 10.
100 seconds to a minute.
100 minutes to an hour.
10 hours to a day (midnight to midnight).

I remember as a kid that every few years the switch to decimal time hoax was used as an April Fool joke by radio stations. I always thought it was a joke but today I learned that in France,  for a few years during the revolution (from 1792), decimal time was actually a thing.

In fact, breaking time into decimals is often used in scientific applications, computing and data entry.

As this project is for the future I'll assume that we have finally moved to decimal time. To this end If there are any times or clocks involved I'll attempt to work to a decimal time signature (if I can figure out how to do it).

I’ll find out soon enough.
