Our group has broken up the research in quite a good way. Rather than each of us taking a separate area, where possible we are breaking up each area into 4 parts. This should keep us all connected to the whole project.
The user that I was assigned is the ModBox coach.
Paul Perkins was kind enough to give me a phone interview. His experience in unique in that he is also a researcher / instigator of the ModBox program so while much of his experiences will match those of other coaches his concerns will be slightly different.
Talking to Paul let me read bit between the lines. He is highly motivated and has a genuine passion for improving the social and cultural well being of youth through sports programs. He is very positive and the only times when his enthusiasm even started to wane was when talking about the data-crunching side of things. Even then he was still positive.
